Your choice

When you first visit InkDesign, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you choose Accept All, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no analytics or attribution cookies are set. Reject All keeps it that way. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

Essential cookies (always on)

These are needed for the site to work and can't be switched off.

• __Secure-better-auth.session_token (inkdesign.ai): keeps you signed in. Lasts up to 7 days and is renewed while you use the site.
• Other __Secure-better-auth.* cookies (inkdesign.ai): protect the Google sign-in step. They last a few minutes and are only set while you sign in with Google.
• cookie_consent (inkdesign.ai): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. Lasts 1 year.
• Cloudflare security cookies, such as __cf_bm (Cloudflare): may be set by our hosting provider to tell people from bots. Last up to 30 minutes.

The sign-up and password reset forms show a Cloudflare Turnstile check to stop automated sign-ups. It runs on Cloudflare's servers and sets no cookies on inkdesign.ai.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)

• _ga, _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): count visits and show which pages and tools are used, without your name or email. Last up to 2 years.
• first_referrer and utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content (inkdesign.ai): remember which site or campaign first brought you here, saved to your account when you sign up. Last 30 days.

We send Google Analytics only event names and simple settings such as the style you picked. We never send the text of your tattoo idea, your lettering or your email.

Browser storage

These stay in your browser and are never sent to us as cookies.

• Local storage: your light or dark theme, and short-lived page data cached to make the site faster.
• Session storage: the idea, lettering and options you are working on, so they survive signing in. It is cleared when you close the tab.

Third parties

• Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, Google's own cookies on google.com apply to that step.
• Payments: when credit packs go on sale, checkout happens on Stripe's page, where Stripe's cookies apply.

Managing cookies

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; you will then be signed out and the banner will ask again. For how we handle personal data in general, see the Privacy Policy. Questions: support@inkdesign.ai.
